Sally Corbo, M.S., P.T.

A native Staten Islander, Sally graduated from Staten Island Technical High School in 1995. She went on to Binghamton University to study for a degree in Biology. After completing a year of her studies at Binghamton, she transferred to the College of Staten Island, where she went on to study for a career in Physical Therapy.

While at the College of Staten Island, Sally continued to work part –time at several agencies including On Your Mark, The Center for Family Support and Safe Harbor Healthcare. She also worked as substitute paraprofessional for the NYC Board of Education.

Sally successfully completed 4 clinical affiliations at Staten Island University Hospital, Michael Mattia Physical Rehabilitation (Brooklyn, NY), Seaview Rehabilitation Hospital and Home, and Children’s Specialized Hospital (Mountainside, NJ).

Sally graduated from the College of Staten Island’s Physical Therapy Program with honors in February 2002. She received a Bachelor and Master of Science in Physical Therapy, the Presidential Academic Award and the Biology Department Faculty Award.

Her budding career took off when she accepted a staff position at Rehabilitation Associates of Staten Island in May 2002. Sally joined the NYC Department of Education as a full time physical therapist inn September 2002. She currently works at PS 37, a special education school on Staten Island, and continues to work part-time at Rehabilitation Associates. She is a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the United Federation of Teachers (UFT).
